Aroma: Black pepper, light cinnamon notes, cloves, dark cherries, and plums meet black tea and slightly earthy notes.
Palate: Fruity with raisins, gentle caramel, dried pineapple, and some wood notes. Then it becomes spicier, subtly piquant, and mineral.
Finish: Medium-long, spicy, and dry on the finish.
Produkto aprašymas
This blended rum is a perfect symbiosis of Jamaica and Barbados. The heavy, spicy Jamaican component was distilled in a traditional John Dore pot still and aged for 10 to 15 years before being blended with the 1 to 3-year-old Barbados rum. While the fermentation process in Barbados lasted 72 hours, the yeast strains in Jamaica had a full two weeks to extract spice and character. After the union of these very different rums, the drop aged for another 3 to 6 months in the southwest of France. During this time, the two parts were able to merge into a noble unity. The balance of spicy pepper and the sweetness of dried fruits is something you should not miss.
