This delicious drop is produced in the far north of Japan using malted barley that is dried over peat smoke. This gives the whisky its pleasantly smoky aroma, which is rather unusual for the land of the rising sun. The scent is complemented by sweet vanilla, bananas, candied dried fruits, and spices. On the palate, you will find a blend of nuts, chocolate, a hint of smoke, and subtle maritime notes. A light saltiness adds wonderful accents to the composition.
