The main ingredients of this bourbon whiskey were grains and corn. The Wild Turkey is not smoky. The whiskey was bottled at a rather restrained 43.0% ABV. This ensures a smooth taste. The whiskey shows its color, as no artificial coloring was added – the hue developed naturally through barrel aging. The aging period was only 8 years. For a bourbon from the USA, this is already a respectable age.
