For the production of Whitley Neill Handcrafted London Dry Gin, a total of 9 botanicals are used. Among them are familiar names such as juniper, coriander, angelica, cassia bark, lemon peels, orange peels, and orris roots. However, the last two botanicals are particularly interesting. The fourth-generation producer Johnny Neill brings his love for South Africa into the gin with the fruit of the baobab tree and the Cape gooseberry. These two South African botanicals significantly shape the flavor and aroma profile of the gin, clearly distinguishing it from mass-market gins.
