From the very first nosing, it becomes clear: Here awaits an experience like no other. A wave of sweet smoke meets salty sea air and smoked ham. Behind it shimmers a vibrant fruitiness – think of green apples, candied lemon peels, and exotic fruit gummies that gently blend with almonds, tonka beans, and seductive vanilla.

On the palate, an intense play unfolds of meaty peat smoke, salty licorice, dark chocolate, and peppery herbs. The maturation in a Bacchus white wine cask reveals surprising nuances of grapefruit, bright grapes, and even some floral accents. The fine fruit acidity adds complexity and an elegant freshness.

The finish is sparkling, bitter-sweet, and pleasantly spicy. With a pinch of sea salt, nutmeg, and cocoa, the impressions fade slowly and remain in beautiful memory.

This single malt Scotch aged for 11 years in a very rare Bacchus cask used for whisky maturation – a white wine predominantly grown in the UK and Germany. This not only makes it a unique specimen but also ensures an aromatic diversity that is rarely found in smoky whisky of this kind. Thanks to its natural color and the untamed cask strength of 52.9% vol., the authentic character is preserved, as is the absence of chill filtration.
