This is how the whisky is made

This delicious whisky is made from malted barley and water. With Tomintoul, you get a whisky that is not smoky. The well-matured whisky flows smoothly into your glass with gentle 40% ABV. Sweet vanilla notes come from the bourbon cask into the whisky.

No artificial coloring was added. The great color came solely from the cask maturation.

Tomintoul (Speyside)

Tomintoul distilerija yra šalia miško, visai netoli Avon upės. Pavadinimas reiškia „kalnas su kluonais“ ir tariamas „Tomintúl“. Tomintoul yra klasikinis Speyside viskis. Lengvas, gėlių, žolės ir vaisių aromatas. Kai kurie autoriai netgi priskiria šiam viskiui lengviausią aromatą Speyside regione. 

Distilerija turi keturias distiliavimo kolonas, kurios per metus gali pagaminti iki 3,2 mln. litrų alkoholio. Vanduo, naudojamas viskio gamybai Tomintoul, gaunamas ne iš Avon upės, o iš netoliese esančio Ballantruan šaltinio.
