The name is inspired by 'Neachneohain', the 'Queen of Spirits' or 'Guardian of Nature' in Gaelic folklore. And nothing could be more fitting, as the Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky produced here is CO2-neutral made with renewable energies and from untreated organic barley. The glass bottles adorned with flowers and ferns are 100% recycled and reflect the nature-connected character of the distillery. Even the waste from production is almost completely reused and serves as natural fertilizer or animal feed.
