The story of this whisky begins with malted barley and water. As the barley was dried over peat, this Highland Park brings gentle smoky notes. Wonderfully intense, the aromas come to life here and unfold their full potential at 64.3% ABV.
As expected from a bourbon cask maturation, you will find delicious vanilla and caramel flavors. Clove spice, dried fruits, and chocolate are imparted to the Highland Park through sherry cask maturation. These different cask influences create a multifaceted and balanced bouquet.
Its great color is solely due to the cask influence. It has not been colored.
