When the Highland Park 18 Year Whisky makes its way into the 0.7-liter bottle, it is at its prime. This top-notch single malt Scotch whisky, created in the Scottish distillery Highland Park, founded in 1798, boasts a wonderful sweetness. This sweetness is partly due to the predominant use of former sherry casks. These impart dried fruit notes, dark chocolate hints, and spicy tannins to the single malt. Characteristic of the distillery from the Orkney Islands is the smoky touch of the single malts. The barley used is dried over peat from the local Hobbister Moor. Since a large part of the peat consists of heather, the smoke is wonderfully aromatic and herbaceous. Compared to other smoky whiskies, the Highland Park 18 Year is only lightly peated.

The aroma of wood and dried fruits, along with the gentle sherry note featuring nuances of chocolate and honey, makes it a true delight with 43% alcohol, something to savor during beautiful moments. The Highland Park 18 Year has been around for over 20 years and still ranks among the best spirits from the distillery on the Orkney Islands. Since 2017, it has been presented in a new guise with the name 'Viking Pride'. The new bottle design makes this whisky a true eye-catcher with the embossed Highland Park emblem and the incorporation of the Celtic knot pattern. Here, form and content are qualitatively matched. A successful symbiosis of Scottish and Nordic mythology, and in the truest sense, the pride of the island distillery.
