The Hendricks Gin comes from the Lowlands of Scotland and belongs to the world-renowned whisky company William Grant & Sons, which is also responsible for the market leader Glenfiddich. The gin is a so-called single blend, where both included distillates come from one distillery but are distilled in different stills. For the first part, a Bennet Still from the 18th century is used, which produces a very heavy and oily distillate with dominant juniper notes. For the second part, a Carter Head Still is used, which produces a particularly light distillate where the so-called botanicals come to the fore more clearly.
