Aroma: Intense notes of berries rise from the nosing glass, blending with creamy vanilla aromas. Sweet caramel and freshly baked gingerbread add to the experience. 

Taste: Wonderfully balanced with a full-bodied character. Cassis and licorice dominate the entry, accompanied by delicious caramel and chili chocolate. 

Finish: Dark chocolate and raisins make the farewell difficult. Delicious. 

This Glen Moray is a single malt whisky from Scotland. More specifically, the whisky comes from Speyside. By the way, Speyside has the highest distillery density in Scotland.

What makes this drop special

The whisky is made from malted barley. Glen Moray is not smoky. The whisky is bottled at a respectable 46.3% ABV. Therefore, the aromas are presented in their full strength. Here you will find the expected notes of vanilla and caramel. This is because the whisky matured in a bourbon cask. Another point to determine the quality of a whisky: if cold filtration has been avoided – as is the case here. The maturation period lasted a full 21 years. The high age is reflected in the complex taste and the diverse aromas of this whisky.
