How the whisky is made

The whisky was made from malted barley and water. Since the barley was dried over peat, this Caol Ila carries delicious smoke. The flavor notes unfold their full potential thanks to the strong 57.7% ABV - here you get beautiful intensity.

Dark fruit notes, intense spice aromas, and bitter oak tones come from the sherry cask.

This Caol Ila shows its true color, as no artificial coloring was added – the beautiful amber color developed naturally through cask maturation. The vintage is from 2007. It was bottled in 2025.
