About the production of this whisky
The story of this whisky begins with malted barley and water. The Benromach whisky is not smoky. Its robust 46% ABV gives the aromas their beautiful intensity.
You will love the vanilla and sweet caramel that the drop could extract from the bourbon cask. Dark raisins and fine spices come from the sherry cask. The combination of these cask influences creates a balanced overall picture.
No caramel coloring has been added. The noble hue occurred completely naturally. The vintage dates back to 2014. The aging period was a lovely 9 years. Thanks to the long contact with the wood, the Benromach exhibits such versatile aromas.
