Produkto aprašymas
Since 1995, whisky has been distilled again on the Scottish Isle of Arran after more than 150 years, and the Arran Distillery has impressed with its typical whisky style. Although the whiskies are quite versatile, they are naturally slightly smoky, creamy, and made with floral notes. An ARRAN 10 (UN-CHILLFILTERED) has complex aromas and initially presents a rich vanilla scent. However, the fruit cocktail quickly comes through and seems to be accompanied by a hint of chocolate. With 46%, it offers a very good drinking strength.
Arran 10 Years - Golden enjoyment
In the glass, the Arran 10 appears attractively golden and tempts for the first sip. After the complex and fruity aromas on the nose, a bit of cinnamon is added on the palate, accompanied by the classic Arran malt flavor and a hint of lemon. Overall, it is profound and has a sweet-bitter note. Once it passes over the palate, it feels slightly oily and quickly makes you crave the next sip.
The home of ARRAN 10 years
The Isle of Arran is typically Scottish, characterized by mountains and lakes in the north, and meadows and grasslands in the south. After a long absence, the Arran Distillery settled here in 1995, and first-class whisky is produced again. Many different casks are used for maturation to give the whiskies their individual flavor. The ARRAN 10 was allowed to mature in bourbon and sherry casks (75% sherry, 25% bourbon), and it is not chill-filtered. It is distilled from the water of Loch na Davie, unpeated malt from the Bairds Malt Ltd. malting facility in Pencaitland, and with great know-how in four fermentation vessels, a wash still, and a spirit still.
