Currently, The Quiet Man whiskeys are available on the market. The casks for the whiskey were purchased as new makes from another distillery and transferred to first fill bourbon casks in Londonderry. The whiskey matured there for the entire duration. The special feature of this release: 12 years of aging in former bourbon casks and no chill filtration, as the alcohol content was only reduced to 46%. Here you have particularly intense bourbon-vanilla notes.
The name The Quiet Man does not refer to the famous film with John Wayne, but to the father of the brand owner, who was a bartender known for keeping the stories entrusted to him to himself.
