Aroma: Fresh with menthol, anise, and fresh herbs. Sweet malt, marzipan, apples, peaches, and a subtle smoky note.

Taste: Full-bodied, round, and with a pleasant texture, showcasing juicy baked apple, caramel, honey, a bit of peat smoke, and sea salt. Meadow herbs and black pepper add wonderful accents.

Finish: Medium-long with maritime impressions of peat, salted nuts, sweet licorice, and toffee.

The good taste doesn't come by chance

The basic ingredients of this single malt whisky are naturally malted barley and water. Since the barley was dried over peat, this Isle of Harris brings a lovely smoke with it. A solid 46% ABV ensures the full-bodied character of this bottling.

From the bourbon cask come sweet vanilla notes into the whisky. Christmas spices, dried fruits, and coffee roast notes are imparted to the Isle of Harris through the sherry cask. This cask combination creates an exciting yet rounded bouquet.

This whisky shows its color, as no artificial coloring was added – the beautiful amber color developed naturally through cask maturation. The aging period was just 5 years. This gives it a somewhat unruly character. However, this offers you the opportunity to experience more of the pure house style of the distillery.
