It may come as a surprise to some that it has been in existence since 1825. For a long time, only blends were produced here, but now there is a rich selection of first-class single malts. With the Glencadam Reserva Andalucía, you pour yourself a pleasantly soft and fruity whisky into your glass.
You will find fine apricot aromas and the sweetness of malt candies and vanilla. Since the whisky is made from unpeated malt, it is not smoky. A great whisky for newcomers who want to venture into sherry cask aging. After many years in the cask, the Glencadam Reserva Andalucía was finished in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks. This gives it an extra layer of fruit aromas. As a true quality feature, you will find the designation 'Unchillfiltered' and 'no added coloring' on the label and packaging. This means that the whisky has not been chill-filtered, thus retaining all the aroma-carrying fats and oils. It was also bottled in natural color, which speaks for an honest malt that you would love to pour into your glass at the end of the day.
