We are pleased to present the Glencadam 15 Year Reserva de Jerez as a limited vintage edition.
The single malt has a wonderful aroma of chocolate truffles, sweet syrup, and candied citrus fruits. Aromatic notes of raisins and roasted nuts complete the bouquet. Treat yourself to a sip and experience the full-bodied taste of delicate milk chocolate, sweet puff pastry, raisins, and spicy heather honey. Accompanied by delicate pecans, a hint of nutmeg, and fine oak spice. This potpourri transitions into a beautiful finish of warm apple strudel, vanilla tart, spices, and sweetened espresso.
This wonderfully balanced single malt was distilled in 2007 and initially matured in American ex-bourbon casks before undergoing a finishing in specially selected Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez, Spain. Finally, the whisky was bottled with its natural color from cask maturation, robust 46% ABV, and all aroma-carrying fats and oils - because it is bottled without chill filtration. The result is a full-bodied, aromatic, and exceptionally delicious single malt. The limited edition Reserva de Jerez consists of 9420 bottles, all individually numbered.
Among connoisseurs and experts, the distillery from the southeastern Highlands is still considered a real insider tip. This may be because Glencadam has long produced almost exclusively for the big brands of the blending industry and has only recently offered an excellent core range of single malts.
