Aroma: Zesty citrus notes, orange peel, and green apples. Fine spices and sweet cookie dough, with a hint of star anise and mint floating above.
Palate: Very balanced and creamy with flavors of lemon cake from fine citrus notes, gooseberries, and oak. Also white pepper, light hay notes, and lemongrass.
Finish: Long and smooth, grapefruit and bitter almond round off the malt.
Produkto aprašymas
Produced quietly and secretly in the eastern Highlands, Glencadam creates an excellent single malt whisky. Between Dundee and Aberdeen, the distillery produces a very fruity and robust Highland single malt. The Glencadam 10 years showcases the citrusy character of the distillery beautifully. Juicy lemons and orange peels, as well as gooseberries and lemongrass, make up the whisky. Also a pleasant surprise for enthusiasts: The Glencadam 10 years is already bottled at a strong 46% ABV as an entry into the distillery's core range and is neither colored nor chill-filtered. An honest, straightforward Highland whisky that you must try.
