Aroma: An intense start reminiscent of salty sea breezes, with strong notes of olives, anchovies, tar, and seawater. A hint of fresh rubber rounds off the aroma. With a splash of water, the maritime elements are enhanced, while licorice and machine grease emerge, highlighting the depth of this rum.
Taste: Despite the impressive 72.5% ABV, the alcohol is well integrated, and the mouthfeel is surprisingly velvety and creamy. Ripe bananas and juicy pineapples dominate the tropical fruit profile, perfectly blending with notes of tar, rubber, and olives. A delicate fishy note (possibly sardines) complements the flavor, while a pastry-like creaminess flashes in the background, rounding off the experience.
Finish: Long, complex, and intense. Continuous grapefruit notes are accompanied by a salty aftertaste that elegantly underscores the maritime essence of the rum. The creamy texture remains present until the end.

It was distilled in 2006, with a total aging time of 17 years. The first 11 years were spent in the tropical heat of Fiji before it reached its completion in the temperate climate of Europe until 2024. Its high age is reflected in the complex flavor and multifaceted aromas of this rum.
There are only 256 bottles of this rum. Due to its high quality, the cask was bottled individually. As you can expect from the bottlings of Dos Delinquentes, this drop is also neither colored nor sweetened.
