The Dalmore King Alexander III is a very special single Highland malt whisky from the house of Dalmore. The Dalmore distillery has existed since 1839 and is located in the northern Scottish Highlands. The distillery was long owned by the Mackenzies, whose head saved King Alexander III from a deadly attack by a stag in 1263. Since then, the Mackenzies have borne the stag's head on their family crest, which can still be seen on every Dalmore bottle today. This historic event is dedicated to this special single malt.
