Nose: Powerful, maritime peat smoke with grilled limes. Alongside, there are preserved plums, ripe sour cherries, and roasted almonds. Notes of dark chocolate, moss, and sea salt in the background.
Palate: Smoky-salty and fruity with citrus zest and spicy plum jam on fruit bread. Later, blueberry, oiled leather, and polished oak show up.
Finish: Long-lasting with smoked salt, sugared cranberries, almonds, and lemon drops.

The fourth and final release of the coveted Horsemen series from Signatory Vintage comes with dense waves of maritime peat smoke and fine citrus notes in your glass.
Peatheads will recognize immediately: This is a Staoisha! One of the heavily peated releases from the Islay distillery Bunnahabhain.
In addition, there are dark notes of pickled cherries, ripe plums, and blanched almonds. These come from solid 10 years of aging in an Oloroso sherry butt and a Pinot Noir butt.
With a powerful 62.7% ABV cask strength and bottled in natural color, this rider brings you an honest aroma spectacle, exclusively for Germany.
Moreover, this release is a great eye-catcher for your whisky shelf. The impressive rider motif comes from the pen of metal artist Tom Thiel, who also created the iconic album covers for the death metal band Amon Amarth.
