The main ingredient of this Single Malt Whisky was - as expected - malted barley. The Braeval is not smoky. 48% ABV gives the whisky its strength. No caramel coloring has been added. The intense color developed completely naturally. The whisky was not chill-filtered, so you still get the full aroma of the Braeval. The aging period lasted a full 25 years. The high age is reflected in the complex taste and the diverse aromas of this whisky.
