About the production of this whisky
The story of this whisky begins with malted barley and water. Since the barley was dried over peat, this Ballechin carries a beautiful smoke. The stunning 54.1% ABV wonderfully highlights the aromas.
No caramel coloring was added. The intense hue occurred completely naturally. The vintage is from 2009. It was bottled in 2024. The maturation period was a solid 15 years, resulting in wonderfully versatile aromas.
A total of 2430 bottles of this whisky exist. With a Ballechin, it is still questionable how long the supply will last. So, better buy your copy immediately before the last bottle is sold out.
