Nosing: Complex with grill smoke and roasted cloves, juicy oranges, and butterscotch. Honey, toffee, and oak spice accompany.

Palate: Strong peat smoke and honey-glazed grilled meat slowly give way to pineapple, salted caramel, and smoked wood. Creamy chocolate and sweet malt round off the enjoyment.

Finish: Smoky with pears and oak wood. 

This Teeling is a single malt whiskey from Ireland. Teeling conjures images of lush green meadows, rugged cliffs, and cozy pub scenes.

The whiskey is made from malted barley. Teeling is smoky. The whiskey is bottled at a respectable 46.0% ABV. Therefore, the aromas are presented in all their strength. Here you will find the expected notes of vanilla and caramel, as the whiskey aged in bourbon casks. Its beautiful color is solely due to the influence of the cask. The whiskey is not colored. Another point to determine the quality of a whiskey: if cold filtration has been avoided – as it is here.

Teeling distilerija (Airija)

Teeling distilerija yra įsikūrusi Airijos sostinėje Dubline. Ji buvo atidaryta 2015 metais, kaip pirmoji nauja distilerija per daugiau nei 125 metus Dubline.

Teeling šeima veikia viskio pramonėje nuo 18 amžiaus (1782). Paskutiniais metais Teeling šeima valdė Cooley distileriją, žinomą dėl tokių vieno miežių viskių kaip Connemara arba Kilbeggan mišrių airiškų viskių. Cooley distilerija buvo perimta Beam Global ir dabar priklauso Beam Suntory. Naujoji Teeling distilerija yra naujausias Teeling šeimos projektas, ir mes galime tikėtis didelių dalykų. Pirmasis Teeling Newmake lašas buvo distiliuotas 2015 metų kovo mėnesį, todėl pirmasis tikras Teeling viskis bus prieinamas ne anksčiau kaip 2018 metais. Iki tol paskelbtas Teeling viskis dar yra iš Cooley distilerijos.
