A distinctly maritime drop from Scotland! Among the botanicals of this gin from Edinburgh are, in addition to the typical juniper berries, more unusual herbs and plants such as seaweed, daisies, ground ivy, and spoonwort. Due to its high vitamin C content, spoonwort was eaten by sailors in earlier times to prevent scurvy, which is why it is also called 'scurvy grass' in English. The botanicals provide a crisp freshness on the palate. The bottle and packaging impress with design elements reminiscent of the Art Deco style: straightforward with great attention to detail.
