The Stork Club Full Proof Rye Whiskey is distilled in small batches from German rye and matures in selected oak barrels in the unique microclimate of the Spreewald. From American Oak and German Napoleon Oak, as well as selected wine barrels, the whiskey draws its sweet-spicy aromas of whole grain cereals, dried fruits, toffee, and spices.
All whiskeys from Spreewood Distillers are bottled without the addition of color and flavoring agents and without cold filtration. The name Stork Club refers to the location of the distillery. Schlepzig, a picturesque village in the midst of a biosphere reserve, is a breeding ground for many pairs of storks every year.
We recommend enjoying this German masterpiece neat. However, it also makes a good impression in high-end cocktails.
