Mild-maritime all-rounder

Aroma: Mild and balanced with honey-sweet and salty accents. Roasted almonds and orange marmalade come to mind, along with marzipan and stewed apples. Behind it hovers a maritime salt note, gently caressed by a delicate smoke.

Taste: Velvety soft, almost oily, the Oban lays on the tongue. Here too, fruity and sweet with white chocolate and dried apricots. These aromas are cleverly countered by bitter lemon peels and sea salt, leading into pleasant oak tones and light smoke.

Finish: Subtly smoky and dry with roasted oak and salt caramel.

The Oban distillery has an annual production of around 670,000 liters, making it one of the smaller whisky distilleries in Scotland.
