That's why this whisky tastes so delicious
The basic ingredients of this single malt whisky are, of course, barley malt and water. The Raasay whisky is not smoky. Extreme 61.9% ABV brings out the flavor notes well.
No additives were used here. The honey-yellow color came solely from the cask aging. You hold a 2019 vintage in your hands with this bottle. The aging period was therefore only 5 years. Thus, it is less complex than older bottlings - yet an exciting enjoyment.
Since only one cask was bottled, this drop is limited. Cask number 19/266 offers a completely different perspective on Raasay compared to the standard bottlings.
