Aroma: Freshly cut lemon, grapefruit, coriander, floral juniper notes, and lavender framed by sparkling black pepper.
Palate: Juniper, followed by fresh citrus notes of grapefruit and lime. Then comes distinct coriander, and again pepper with hints of mint, eucalyptus, and lavender.
Finish: Clean and balanced. Strong juniper and citrus aromas linger. Fresh and cooling.
Produkto aprašymas
The Cotswolds Dry Gin is a wonderful gin from the green heart of England. The gin comes from the small town of Stourton in the Cotswolds, one of the most picturesque areas of the island. The Cotswolds Distillery primarily produces whisky, but they gladly make an exception for the small batch gin and take a detour into the gin market. Not uncommon, as Bruichladdich with the Botanist Gin and William Grant & Sons have already proven that whisky makers can also have a knack for gin.
The Cotswolds Dry Gin is made with nine different botanicals: juniper, coriander, angelica root, lavender, grapefruit, lime, black pepper, cardamom seeds, and bay leaf. The herbs are steeped in clear wheat spirit for 12 hours to release all their fine aromas. At the World Gin Awards 2016, this blend impressed not only fans but also the jury, earning the title of 'World's Best London Dry Gin'. This gin is robust enough to enjoy as a gin and tonic, yet mild enough to be savored neat over a few ice cubes.
