The Stork Club Straight Rye Whiskey is distilled 100% from German rye and matures in selected oak barrels in the unique microclimate of the Spreewald. From First Fill American Oak and German Napoleon Oak, the rye whiskey draws its sweet-spicy aromas of caramel, baking spices, dark chocolate, and espresso.
All whiskeys from Spreewood Distillers are bottled without the addition of color and flavoring agents. The name Stork Club refers to the location of the distillery, Schlepzig, a picturesque village in the midst of a biosphere reserve and a breeding ground for many pairs of storks each year.
