Nosing: Creamy butterscotch, black currants, and sweet heather honey. Along with minerals, poached apples, pears, and orange zest.
Palate: Complex with honeycomb, black cherries, and plums. Dark chocolate mingles with coffee, truffles, and cinnamon.
Finish: Medium-long with cassis pudding and ginger.

Here you can taste a beautifully packaged single malt whisky from the famous Speyside. Theoretically, Speyside is part of the Highlands. However, with its delicate and elegantly floral style, the distilleries along the River Spey have established themselves so distinctly that Speyside is recognized as an independent whisky region.
About the production of this whisky
This whisky is primarily made from malted barley. Completely free of smoke, this whisky caresses your palate. It is bottled at a solid 48% ABV. Therefore, the aromas reveal themselves in their full intensity.
As expected from bourbon cask maturation, you will find wonderfully sweet vanilla and caramel notes.
No caramel coloring has been added. The intense hue developed completely naturally. The maturation period lasted a solid 11 years. The long contact with the wood gives GlenAllachie its versatile aromas.
