Arran Sherry Cask (The Bodega)

Aroma: Orange marmalade and chocolate combine with Christmas spices and plenty of dried fruits. Behind it, dry oak with delicate roasting aromas. 

Taste: Strong sherry onset with ripe black cherries and figs, ginger, and dark chocolate. Over it, raisins and cream caramel. 

Finish: Fades out with a hint of allspice, dark chocolates, and cold ash. 

This exciting single malt from the Arran Distillery has been given the resonant name 'The Bodega'. A fitting name for a sherry cask matured single malt, after the Spanish wine cellars where the sherry casks mature. The Bodega matured for over seven years in first-fill sherry hogsheads and is bottled at robust cask strength of 55.8% ABV in newly designed bottles. The single malt has not been colored with caramel nor chill-filtered. We get a 100% natural whisky, just as it comes from the cask! The result is intense aromas of dried fruits, ripe cherries, chocolate, and roasted oak. A true island delight from the friendly Arran Distillers!

Isle of Arran distilerijos atidarymas 1995 metais buvo pradžia dar vis tęsiančios aukso eros viskio istorijoje. Gamta mylintys žmonės visada buvo sužavėti šia nuostabia sala. Isle of Arran, kuri taip pat vadinama „Škotija miniatiūroje“, padėjo naujajam viskiui greitai pasiekti sėkmę. Šiandien Arran jau išaugo iš vaikystės ir tapo įsitvirtinusia atrakcija. Platus lankytojų centras su parduotuve ir prijungtu restoranu užbaigia distilerijos lankytojų programą. 

Namų stilius: Aiškūs citrusiniai tonai, kreminiai ir šiek tiek sodrūs, su prieskoniais ir lengvu jūriniu akcentu. Puikiai tinka desertui.
