Among the botanicals of this gin from Edinburgh are double-strength juniper berries, lemon peel, and a pinch of Szechuan pepper, which gives the Scottish gin a proper kick in addition to the increased alcohol content. The name says it all: like a cannonball, the gin hits hard with its variety of aromas. The gin is produced in small batches, similar to whisky.
Our serving suggestion: Definitely serve in cocktail format, preferably as a Martini or Negroni.
