Chita is the grain whisky distillery of the Japanese whisky company Suntory. Here, three types of grain whisky are produced using a continuous distillation process. A light, medium, and heavy style, which are used as needed for various blended whiskies from Suntory. All three styles are blended in a single grain bottling. The whisky matured in former bourbon barrels, ex-sherry casks, and a fine selection of former wine barrels - this ensures a varied and fruity-spicy overall result.
