Bunnahabhain Toiteach A Dha is a single malt whisky from Scotland's Islay island. The Toiteach A Dha is a variant of the smoky whiskies from the Bunnahabhain Distillery, which is otherwise known for its non-smoky or only very lightly smoky single malts. It is part of the 'Moine' series of the distillery, under which the smoky whiskies of Bunnahabhain are bottled. 'Toiteach A Dha' means 'Smoky Number Two', as it is the successor to the Bunnahabhain Toiteach.

Handpicked ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks by Master Blender Dr. Kirstie McCallum were matured in the coastal warehouses of Bunnahabhain and blended into this exciting Islay single malt. The whisky was bottled at a robust 46.3% ABV. Therefore, as is customary with Bunnahabhain, chill filtration could be omitted. This allows all aroma-carrying fats and oils to remain in the malt whisky. These are primarily characterized by strong smoke - a rather rare sight at Bunnahabhain. The beautiful color of the Scotch whisky is also natural and not artificially treated. Try this Islay whisky, which is an exotic in the Bunnahabhain range, yet approaches its Islay siblings.

Bunnahabhain (Islė, Šiaurės pakrantė)

Bunnahabhain (tariama "Bunnahäven") yra įsikūrusi šiaurinėje rytinėje Islės salos pakrantėje, kuri garsėja savo stipriai durpėmis dūminiais viskiais. Tačiau Bunnahabhain yra išimtis, nes standartiniai Bunnahabhain viskiai yra beveik nedūminiai, todėl jie yra labai jūriniai, bet ne dūminiai.
