The basic ingredients of this single malt whisky are - as expected - malted barley and water. Since the barley was dried over peat, this Laphroaig carries delicious smoke. Look forward to a respectable 48% ABV and thus an intense aroma profile.
From the bourbon cask come sweet fruity notes into the whisky.
This whisky was not artificially colored. The beautiful color came solely from the cask maturation. The aging period lasted a full 18 years. You will appreciate the aromatic complexity that the high age of this whisky provides.
