However, with its delicate and elegantly floral style, the distilleries along the River Spey have established themselves so distinctly that Speyside is recognized as an independent whisky region.

Why this whisky is so delicious

This delicious whisky is made from malted barley and water. The flavor notes showcase their full potential thanks to the robust 54.9% ABV - here you get pleasant intensity.

This whisky was not artificially enhanced. The beautiful color came solely from the cask maturation. You hold a 2011 vintage in your hands. It was bottled in 2024, resulting in a lovely aging period of 13 years. This time in oak casks contributes to the balanced aromas of this bottling.

This Speyside whisky was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Brave New Spirits. Once again, Brave New Spirits has shown a good hand in cask selection. As it is a single cask bottling, the number of bottles is correspondingly limited. Only 285 bottles of this whisky exist. Act quickly, or this fine drop may be gone in the end. Cask number 2313309/2011 offers a completely different perspective on Tamnavulin compared to the standard bottlings.
