The ten-year-old Edradour presents itself with a beautiful golden color, which has developed quite naturally through cask aging, without the addition of caramel coloring. This fine Highland whisky is bottled at mild 40% alcohol content and is therefore well-suited for whisky beginners and as a representative of the Highland region in a whisky tasting.
What can you expect from the enjoyment?
This is a non-smoky or non-peaty whisky. Its aroma consists of intense notes of malt, dried fruits, and spicy mint. Here, the finishing in ex-sherry casks pays off. On the palate, one discovers lush impressions of vanilla, caramel, and ripe grapes, supported by a sweet base character and fine woody notes. A creamy mouthfeel and soft tones create a very fine taste, which is characterized by unusual volume and is enhanced by a hint of pepper. The long finish is distinctly sweet and very well balanced, its finish again refers to the aging in the Oloroso sherry cask, which gives the Edradour 10 years a fine elegance that remains in memory for a long time.

Edradour yra mažas Škotijos viskio kraštovaizdžio brangakmenis. Tai viena mažiausių distiliavimo gamyklų Škotijoje. Distiliavimo gamykla vis dar gamina savo viskį senoviniu ir tradiciniu būdu.
Nuo 2002 metų Edradour vėl yra nepriklausomose rankose.
